The Brothers Project Team

Founded on Brotherhood and Community

The Brothers Project was established in 2020 with a clear vision: to create a supportive community for vulnerable individuals in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. What started as a small initiative to help those facing financial hardship has grown into a comprehensive support network serving hundreds of people each year.

Our founders recognized a gap in local services—many people were falling through the cracks, particularly men struggling with mental health issues, unemployment, and social isolation. We set out to change that by building a brotherhood where everyone is welcome, supported, and valued.

Today, we operate multiple programs including a food bank, welfare advice services, mental health support, and community activities like golf and fitness sessions. These programs are designed not just to provide immediate relief, but to build lasting connections and pathways to a better life.

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To relieve poverty and financial hardship in Waltham Forest by providing food, essential items, free advice, support, and advocacy. We promote social inclusion by preventing people from becoming socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.

Our Vision

A Waltham Forest where no one faces poverty alone, where mental health is openly discussed and supported, and where every individual has access to the resources they need to thrive. We envision a community united by compassion and brotherhood.
